So I brought some squires poinsettia/christmas red and it's nowhere near the colour I need. I need like a ruby/dark red and I have no idea how to get it. I can't buy anymore fondant or petal dust.

Help appreciated!!

Do you have any burgundy and black gel paste? If you have burgundy, or even violet, take a piece of your red, any a very tiny, tiny bit of burgundy/violet and super tiny amount of black, like a dot and knead in. Let fondant sit. If you like the colour, then do the same for your larger piece of fondant. If not, keep adding tiny dots of burgundy/violet to your small piece. Hope this helps..
