Can You Freeze A Fondant Decorated Cake

Hi does anyone know if u can freeze a fondant decorated cake and if u can how long will it take to defrost ?

I know many have said NO, but I have done it - cake was for family.  I don't remember there being any problem - it was some time ago.  As to how long to defrost - that depends on the size of the cake.   The bigger, the longer :)   I think the best way is to take it out of the fzr into the frig overnight, then in a cake box to the counter.   Of course, 'overnight' could be from early a.m. to late in the day, or similar.
