I have 12 cake pops that I am bringing to someone Friday.  How do you all normally deliver cake pops?

In a cake box laying flat, or a box small enough to keep them close together and standing up if they are stick up.

I agree with @ypierce82 ‍. The last cake pops I delivered I had to deliver over an hour away with a wedding cake and I placed them in a shallow cake box and sat them side by side alternating the sticks at opposite ends. Don't know if that helps, but that is what worked for me. Kept them from sliding around.
