Hi, I keep seeing lettering that looks like it was printed from a computer straight onto fondant. How is this possible?

Stencils, edible markers, edible images....two things that immediately come to my mind.  If you had a photo as an example it might help with making suggestions of how it was done.

The "Canon" here. How was that done?

I would say edible image applied to fondant and then cut out.
