So this the biggest cake order I've gotten ever since making cakes in my home kitchen. Thing is, I have no idea what to charge because in my mind the figure is astronomical.

This lady wants a cake that is 12 inches high and 3 feet wide. She also wants it to be a replica of the Salt Lake City Temple.

I'm thinking for that much cake I can't imagine it being less than $1,000.  Is that too much? Too little?

The most I've ever charged was 800 dollars for a 2 tier wedding cake and 7 doz fondant decorated cupcakes.

Please help!

I'm thinking this may be a scam is what I'm thinking.....

If done perfectly, that's way more than a $1,000 cake.
