I've been asked to make 100 cupcakes for a graduation party.  They will travel 11 hours from my state to the customers with a family member.  

How?!?!  What's the best way to go about this from baking to packaging?  What are the bestproducts to purchase for this kind of travel?  Will boxes and inserts do it?

Yes, boxes and inserts should do just fine but then get a bigger box, put hard fzn ice packs in the bigger box before adding the box of cupcakes surrounding them.  Keep it totally out of the sun.  Best would be to cover the box w/those silver sun shades for the front of the car/windshild.

As for baking, if you have a favorite cake recipe,l just use it in cupcake liners.  No need for a 'special' cupcake recipe.
