Hi! I'm making a lamb cake with an aluminum mold from 350B.C.  I need a recipe for the cake itself... I'm assuming something more dense...but flavorful. I have made this cake before, froze it, frosted it and decorated it only to have the head fall off...every time...and I've stuck toothpicks, straws in it for support and ended up with a decapitated lamb. Thanks

That mold was rather well know for the problem you had.....the head falling off :(    I would suggest using this cake recipe:  http://www.cakecentral.com/recipe/7445/the-original-wasc-cake-recipe

Once it has cooled use a skewer/dowel thru the head/neck to help hold it together.  If it should crack, just use a nice (on the stiff side) dab of b'cream icing to hold it.

Thanks @kakeladi ‍ ! I swear you are the only one who answers my questions lol! I've been dying to try this cake anyway! Now I have a reason!
