I just realized something.......I made a buttercream frosting with eggwhites. A recipe I have NEVER used before because I'm making a carved car cake. ..I used the liquid ones in the carton....it was just egg whites, powdered sugar and butter.... the cake is almost completely decorated just need to add the fondant.....am I going to have to worry about people get sick cause I used the egg whites........please I hope someone can answer
Depends on your standpoint of using raw eggs. I personally think that if your eggs come from a reputable source it is perfectly safe to eat raw eggs. If you are really worried check to see if your carton eggs are pasteurized already. If they are then you probably have no risk of getting anyone sick. Again this is just my opinion and I know there are many people who don't feel comfortable using raw eggs.
Thank you, and yes they say pasteurized in really small print on side of the carton....it's a new day and not so stressed, relaxed got some sleep, it's going to be a great day....thank you
......not sure why this posted so many times, only posted it once....
