Hi!

I'm working on my first three tiered cake and I was wondering how I could "glue" the ribbon to the cake as per the attached picture, it needs ti be well set as it will hold the weight of the tails.

Any input will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Royal icing

Chocolate or royal icing would work.  However, when I do a ribbon like this, I actually secure the tails first and then add the ribbon...three separate pieces to look like it is one.
