Does anyone have a suggestion on how to make this color cake? I'm guessing airbrush? If ignore is airbrush, what color? and brand do you suggest using?
Definitely looks airbrushed and I'd say Americolor Pearl Sheen for the color...looks a bit silver.
Thanks! I'll give the pearl sheen a try. I tried gold first and I didn't look right. I think too much yellow. It also seemed like it was very liquidy when I sprayed it on the cake. It ran down the sides. Did I just spray too much? Should I do a little bit and let it dry and then spray another coat?
Yes! You're right. I learned that the hard way myself. Do your coats in stages when fully covering the cake. Allow each coat to dry before applying another coat. I also learned not to spray too long in one area...that will make it run as well :)

Beside making several light coats, the farther you are away you hold the brush from the cake the less chance of it running down the sides.
