I've made dream whip pie in small batches and it's always come out. Today I tried to make a large batch (8 recipes) and it came out like pudding. Does anyone know if there's a way to save it? Here's the original recipe and my conversions in ( ).

1 box (2packs) dream whip  (8 boxes)

2 2/3 cup milk divided (22 cups = one gallon + 6 cups)

1 tsp vanilla (8 tsp)

2 3.9 oz boxed instant pudding (16 small boxes or 10 1/2 large boxes of 5.9 oz)

Wouldn't 8 X 2 2/3 cups = 21 1/3 cups, or roughly 170 ounces?

one gallon + 6 cups is 176 ounces.

I apologize its 2 and 3/4 cup I mistyped. 2.75 x 8 equals 22 cups
