I will be doing a wedding cake with an 18" base tier. I plan to alternate the "seam" of each layer of this tier to form an "x", in other words all the seams won't be lined up. I understand this provides more strength/stability to the tier. I'll be gluing the two halves of each layer together with American buttercream. I will use the SPS to stack my tiers. Has any one had a problem using the SPS on this size (or larger) bottom tier? Thanks
