I tripled a cake recipe since I used a 12x18" pan.  I put 3 nails in the bottom of it.  It just came out of the oven and has started cooling.  I want to freeze it and I'm not sure how or when to get these nails out?  Can anyone help me please?

Thanks

Ha ha! Just take them out when you turn the cake out of the pan.

You can access the nails once you flip it out of the pan, unless you planned on freezing it in the pan.

Even if you want to freeze it in the pan, let it cool for a bit, then flip it over & take the nails out. You can always put the pan back on & flip it upright again before putting in the freezer.

just slip the cooking rack over top of the pan as usual, with the rose nails sticking out, then flip over.
