I am creating a 2D cake in the shape of a margarita glass/drink. I am having trouble estimating and visualizing the servings that the carved cake needs to  provide. Customer will have just 18 guests. As of now, I am using the attached template to carve out a margarita glass that will be 12 inches in length from the top of the glass rim to its base; and 9 inches in width, at its widest. The cake will be a little more than 4" high.  Any educated guesses as to how many servings that would yield?

I don't think you'll get 18 at the size you are planning.
