I would like to make a drip cake. I tried it once but the ganache never got hard, so the cake just looked like a big mess. Is it supposed to get hard? Can anyone please give  some tips on this, Thank You, Eva

What kind of chocolate are you using?

When I used ganache on a drip cake it didn't harden - it didn't need to really. If your drips went to far perhaps your ganache was too warm or had too much cream in it. Or there was simply too much. Also try pouring the ganache onto a cool/cold cake as the ganache will set up faster maybe reducing the speed of the spread.

Good luck
