My lovely niece who's about to be 10 has requested a disco theme cake that has a mirror disco ball on the top. Me being the aunt that I am,  have to take it a step further and try to make the disco ball rotate. I found a ball that rotates but it's too small.  And the majority of them you have to hang from the ceiling. Are there any suggestions on how I can get a mirror disco ball to rotate on the top of the cake?

weight will be the real issue here as the ball weight and motor weight on top will make it very top heavy.

Make a "chandelier" cake with ball hanging from bottom?

This might support some weight since it is made to support figurine cake toppers
