Could someone tell me what type of yellow was use on the gumpaste large peony. There is even a lighter shade on the rose what colour is that?


Was it airbrushed or dusted in petal dust?

i can tell you how i would achieve that --i'd use pale colored gum paste, yellow and ivory and then dip a flat paintbrush in dust and just give a little scrape of color onto the edges of the petal --

those are gorgeous flowers and the photographer made that one that's hanging off look translucent

dip the tip of the brush and scrape -- and just practice a bit so you start to get the right amount you want
