Hello all..........it's been ages since I baked or was here at CC. I was wondering what the laws were on home bakery inspections  now....I have been out of the business for several years, but was/is a licensed and inspected bakery in my home. Do I need to be reinspected to start back up? it's been a while...not sure how the laws have changed.

Just to be safe, I would call the local health department or whomever inspects food service businesses...you wouldn't want to end up getting a fine levied for failure to comply with local/state laws.

I agree you probably should call.  It's such an easy inspection it's best to go ahead an do it the right way.

best of luck to you!
