I get the same advertisements from several different online memberships which I have (CC, Threads, Craftsy, ect.)

Is there anyway to opt out of advertisements without opting out of the legitimate CC notifications?

Possibly some brilliant computer user will know how.  I just turn off the sound so I don't have to listen to the ads that are screaming at me.  The ads pay the site owners, and I get to enjoy the site for free, so the ads don't bother me.  Unless they are the gross ones that don't go well with food.

If you're using Firefox, No-Script is a good add-on. You can choose from a drop-down list of certain sites to allow ads from.

I probably wasn't clear.

What I meant was email ads.  I get the same email on The Celebrity Secret on How to Lose Weight (or whatever) from three different sources at the same time.  I know it is easy enough to hit delete, but I get quite a bit of email and would like to avoid the junk mail, if possible.

Isn't there an "unsubscribe" button at the bottom of these messages?

Those you can usually use and it stops from that group after a few days...
