Hello all,

Silly question, do any of you provide cake cutting guides to your customers to ensure they get the servings they asked for?

I usually do, yes.  I have some long-time clients that no longer need them, but for all new clients and all weddings I give them a guide and also give them the number of supports in each tier, so they know what to look for when cutting.

Excuse me if I sound ignorant, on what type of paper do you provide this guide? Wax paper? Is the guide something you draw up or something you print from the Internet?

I have it on my computer and I print it out with my logo, cutting instructions etc and put it in one of those clear pockets. If it's a "normal" celebration cake I sometimes just send it via mail.
