Hi all!

So I'm aware that it is illegal to make characters in the likeness of copyrighted characters but I was not sure if it is okay to use those little Wilton Icing Decorations toppers that they sell in various characters designs?

I'm not sure who to ask, so wanted to post on here. Would appreciate any input please! Thanks!

I think that those are labelled for home use only, which would mean that they're not allowed to be sold. You could write to the Wilton people to see if they have any insight into that, though, since a lot of people will argue that it falls under the "first use doctrine" or whatever they want to call it. I really doubt that Wilton would extend a commercial license with any of their products because  it would open a can of worms for them in the long run.
