I have an order for a full sheet cake and I already have 2 (11 x 15) cake pans. Can I use these 2 pans and put the cakes next to each otheror should I buy a full sheet can.  What are the pros and cons of each? Thanks

Can you fit a whole sheet cake pan in your oven?  Most standard ovens are not big enough to accommodate that.  You could certainly combine the smaller cakes on a large enough board to create the full sheet.

Two 11x15 1/3 sheets don't equal a 16x24 full  sheet.  A full sheet pan probably won't fit in your oven.  Two 12x18 1/2 sheets (serve 108) and would be closer to an actual 16x24 full sheet (serves 96) rather than using two 11x15 1/3 sheets (serves 74).  HTH.
