Hey Guys! Im doing this cake for a friends daughters bday. She only had like 6 girls getting together so doesn't need a big cake. I was wondering what size this cake looks like in the pic? Is it a 8in round or 10 inch round. I was hoping to do 8 inch round just wanted to see if this is what it would look like size wise. If it is 10 in round will 8 inch round on this cake look bad? And how many layers of cake do you guys think that is?  I was going to do 8inch round with 3 layers of cake...does that sound about right? Thanks!

6" or 8" round, about 4" tall.

It could be any size, it's about the proportion of the decoration work. For 8 people you only need a 6" cake.

I agree with Pastrybaglady.  I did a cake like this and I needed to go 6 inches tall to get all the layers of decorations proportionally (i.e. mouth, rope and fondant drizzile)
