Has anyone ever used Chex cereal to make krispie treats for molding cake decorations instead of Rice Krispies? I am only making a hemisphere shape and Mickey Mouse shoes. I have a brand new box and would rather use those than have to go buy more...

I would think that if you broke it down to the same size as Krispy rice, any cereal would work.

I am hoping the same thing. Think I am going to just crush it some in a bag so that it is somewhat crushed but not turned to powder. Thank you!
