I'm planning to bake my sons birthday cake tonight, cover it in fondant tomorrow and decorate on Friday. Will it taste ok by Saturday?
I will also be making cupcakes out of the same mixture tonight with a buttercream topping, will they be ok for Sunday?
It should be just fine. That's not too long at all. Some ppl say cakes improve days 2 & 3, especially cakes with liquers, so it should be great.
