I need to bake a cake for 70 people. I've looked up serving sizes based on the pan sizes and every site gives a different number. What size rectangular pan would I need? I would be doing only one layer. The biggest pan size I made was only a 9x13 lol so this sounds tricky. How many times would I need to times my recipe to make this much batter?
Is it suppose to be 1 or 2 layers for this many people?
Just one pan/cake i2x18 is not going to do it. Basing the serving size on 2x2x One 12x18 yields (if I remember right) 54. Two 9x13 = 48. What about putting a round on top? An 8"x4" round would add 30 servings.
