I am looking to do a frozen transfer for my daughter's birthday cake but she finds buttercream too sweet and don't like it.  Is there something else I can use instead of buttercream to do a frozen transfer/ decorate with?  Thank-you for your help!

Whipped topping?

Try the flour type buttercream frosting to do the frozen buttercream transfer. The flour type frosting is not nearly as sweet and tastes more like whip cream. I have never tried it with that type of icing but feel it should work. If I am wrong, please someone correct me because I only do cakes for a hobby. Hopefully someone here will have better answers than me. You can do it!!! Good luck!!

If the overall icing of the cake is not b'cream  will the transfer be that much to upset her tastes?  How big is this transfer - will it take up the whole top of the cake?  How about scraping the transfer off before  giving her the piece?

About the only

things I can think of to do otherwise is make a drawing on wafer paper or print out  something on a sugar sheet.
