Photo Backgrounds Really Change Colors

One cake, with slightly different flowers, and two completely different photo backgrounds.
The colors on the cake & flowers really change with the different backgrounds, and that surprised me!
The whole color use process is still somewhat of a mystery some days.

Yeah, I found out about the custom color balance settings on my camera and it changed my life :)
well, no matter how much I keep learning, it just leads me to something more................
it's possible that my brain is just too full. I'll look into the 'custom color balance' settings. Thanks Kara.
Thanks @Apti , those were my first wired daisies and the hardest flower to make so far. I've lot's of room for future improvement.
I may just stick to the white-gray type of background to keep it easier for my photos. I don't think that I have the same skills that a pro like Kara has. Sometimes it's best to know and understand your limits and be happy with yourself. ps: I loved the cupcakes that you posted on the other thread.
