Photo Backgrounds Really Change Colors

One cake, with slightly different flowers, and two completely different photo backgrounds.

The colors on the cake & flowers really change with the different backgrounds, and that surprised me!

The whole color use process is still somewhat of a mystery some days.

Yeah, I found out about the custom color balance settings on my camera and it changed my life :)

well, no matter how much I keep learning, it just leads me to something more................

it's possible that my brain is just too full.  I'll look into the 'custom color balance' settings.  Thanks Kara.

Thanks @Apti ‍, those were my first wired daisies and the hardest flower to make so far.  I've lot's of room for future improvement.

I may just stick to the white-gray type of background to keep it easier for my photos.  I don't think that I have the same skills that a pro like Kara has.   Sometimes it's best to know and understand your limits and be happy with yourself.  ps: I loved the cupcakes that you posted on the other thread.
