Im looking for a recipe that dosent require to cook the strawberries, imo they tend to taste weird. Can I cut up fresh strawberries and coat them in store bought glaze maybe? How long can they stay fresh? I planning to fill cupcakes with it.

I would just melt down strawberry jam and toss the fresh berries in it. It will pump up the berry flavor. As for how long in advance, no more than 6 hours. Cut berries start to break down and will bleed into the cake.
