Hello fellow bakers,
i would love to try my hand at Mirror Glaze, only problem is that all recipes I have seen require the use of Gelatin. As I live in Turkey finding gelatin or a vegetarian gelatin, if there is such a thing is quite difficult. So is there anything else that I could use as a substitute for gelatin. Your thoughts are appreciated.
Do you have access to agar-agar?
To produce a miroir you need something that gels and sets up shiny. I googled "glacage miroir vegan" but all the results are in French (which I don't speak, lol). Maybe you do and that will help?
