Hi Everyone! My brother-in-law is getting married in August and his fiancee asked me to do their wedding cake. Can someone please give me ideas on how to do the middle layer on this cake? I originally thought it was with a tool, but the lines looks super deep, so now I'm wondering if it's fondant. Any ideas would be appreciated!
The middle tier is just like the border on the other tiers, just stacked. It's layers of ruffled fondant strips. Very pretty cake!
Thanks! I couldn't tell if it was piped or fondant. Do you know how I would be able to get the fondant strips to all stick to the cake without falling on each other and looking like a big blob?
