I am very new to the decorating scene but I looove it!!! This is my first cupcake bouquet and I would like honest opinions of it please! Of both the flowers and the arrangement itself!  I can post pics of the cupcakes before they were arranged if you can't see them well through the plastic packaging! Thanks for the honest opinions, all my friends and family raved about this...but they ARE friends and family Lol

Looks ok. Why do you have to put in plastic bag?

Do people actually eat such deep colored icing?

There are boxes with windows on the top and front side.

Its not a plastic bag, it's gift wrapped because someone took it as a gift to a teacher in the morning and had it wrapped so it didn't sit  in a classroom all day un covered. I am not near a store that has boxes like that so I have to order them, this was a last minute order so I did this instead.  And as far as deep colored icing....these appear darker in the pic because of lighting but not sure how icing color is an issue...I've seen black so I'm not sure I understand what you are saying.

Thank you very much!! I love bright colors too, and these are flowers so definitely need those bright spring and summery colors here! :)

I think you did a great job on these.  In the future do try to keep the colors just a bit less intense.  When you get the chan ce to see people eating your icing watch to  see if it stains the teeth and tongue.  If so you have used too much color.

Nothing wrong w/your packaging - especially after you explained about it.  But you may want to take pix before you wrap that way again.

You did a good job. Your packaging makes perfect sense. I also realize the skewers are to protect the buttercream. Thanks for sharing

You did a very nice job, especially for your first bouquet. I like the cello, it mimics the look of a centerpiece from the florist. I also like the different piping techniques you used on each flower.

I don't think your colors look too deep at all, but everyone has different preferences.

I have seen  so many people just scrape dark colored icing off. From my experience dark colored icing has a bitter taste.

Nothing wrong with the cupcake bouquet.
