Can anyone give an advise on a good commercial oven to buy to start a cake business? I am looking to buy an electric commercial oven but there are so many varies and I am afraid to buy something that's it not good and spend a lot of money on it.

Will you be baking mostly cakes? Deck (pizza type ovens) are good. I've used Hobart and Blodgett which are both decent. Convection ovens are popular now; if you go that route try finding one with an off switch for the fan. I suggest you call businesses selling used restaurant equipment and ask what they have in stock. Also, call technical high schools with baking programs and speak with the instructors. Good luck.
