My bride for this weekend failed to remember to leave her cake stand with me. Instead, it's now on it's way to the venue, which is about an hour from me. My original plan was to basically glue the cake to the stand, finished painting the bottom tier gold and deliver. The cake design is an 8" extended bottom tier painted/airbrushed gold with ano off white 6" top tier. Flowers will be placed on the top tier only.
She's very sorry, but I still want to try to give her the look she was going for, which is to have the cake flush with the glass pedestal cake plate she received as a wedding present. Any suggestions?
