I'm looking for a more sturdy cake recipe for decorating and sculpting. Has anyone ever decorated pound cake before? How did that turn out? Any recipe suggestions
Pound cake is my go to cake for sculpting, carve when cake is cold, holds up well under fondant, tastes great, everyone loves it.
I make pound cake for my son and put chocolate frosting on it. He loves it!! It would be great for sculpting! I use the epicurious recipe on line for cream cheese pound cake.
