I am getting back into cake decorating and need to replace all my old AmeriColor food colorings. I was planning on getting new AmeriColor ones, but just saw the new Wilton Color Right system at Michaels. I'm looking for some feedback on the new system. It certain is appealing to only have 8 bottles and be able to mix up colors like you would paint at the hardware store.

i haven't heard of this till now -- but this is how we did it in the olden days -- we just mixed whatever we could out of the major primary type colors and few off shoots -- but if the quality is good this is brilliant on wilton's part -- great idea

however -- if they are in those damnable little jars and you gotta use toothpicks no just no no no -- hope it is by drops -- would have to be drops huh?

Yeah, they are in drop bottles like AmeriColor. I hate those little jars!
