Cost? What Would You Charge For This Cake?

Without knowing the sizes of the cakes used it's really hard to tell but I'm guessing *at least* $200 - and prob ably more. It looks to me like a DecoPac creation - all the decors are plastic so all you need to do is bake & ice the cakes. And if the rounds/mountain is on a sheet cake then increase the price close to double
The bottom is a 16" square, middle is 8" rounds x 2, top layer is 6" round x 2.
decor is plastics, just icing on the cake.
still around 200?
thank you!!
I wouldn't charge less than $200. And probably more. That is a lot of cake and a lot of work. It is also very colorful and would make any girl happy!
If I remember the # of servings per tier right that's around 175 so more like $300. What do you charge per serving for your cakes? Take the time to figure up the cost of your plastics, all ingredients, board, box, then figure out how much per hour you want to be paid........there's more even than that but by now you have probably got the idea of what it will coast just to get all that's needed to make it. If you're baking from mix that's at least 4 or 5 mixes; a dozen eggs; maybe 5# of sugar; a specially cut base board to put such a heavy cake on; 4 more cake boards; etc, etc. Yes, it's expensive to make cakes! Don't sell yourself short.
