I have 800sqm space for my little cake shop that I am working on. I plan to have an area in the front for a few tables and chairs with a work space in the back. How can  divide the space to fully utilise it? I don't want customers to feel squeezed in or to squeeze myself in the back with employees with no breathing room.

Kindly advise

You want an open floor plan so customers can see you working? Place table and chairs in the front retail area, then line up display case(s) and counter from wall-to wall. You'll need an opening so you and staff can move from front to back - either a counter that lifts up or swings closed. Or even a movable cart can work. If you don't have something to stop customers, they will walk right into your production area.

How exciting! When are you opening?
