I am having a hard time writing and doing scroll work on my sugar cookies. Can someone please tell me how to get it to the consistency where it is not runny, and also what do I use to get thin lines....Please someone...HELP!

What are you using to thin the icing? Corn syrup is a good medium to thin with and it gives the icing a bit of elasticity so it's not as likely to break, especially on the thinner lines.
