Hi Everyone,

Recently, my large star piping tip (Wilton #2D) has not been doing it's job! Whenever, I try using it, the buttercream comes out in strands. What's going on? I haven't had this problem before. I've washed a cleaned the tip several times and made sure that my buttercream was completely smooth. Any suggestions? Has anyone ever experience this before?

Thanks so much :)

Usually this happens if either - there is a clog in the tip OR the metal teeth are bent too close to other teeth. Take a good look inside the tip and then at the teeth, are they spaced correctly? Usually they can be rebent.
