Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone on here has had experience with baking a cake in a Millennium Falcon silicone mold, such as this one at the link at the bottom of my post?

I want to do a cake like that for my brother's birthday, and I've been reading the reviews of the cake mold, and there's not many that say what the results were of actually baking a cake in it.  Someone said if all the details of the mold didn't bake well on the cake, you could just line the mold with fondant and press the designs in, then lay it on top of the cake. I suppose I could do that, but I wanted to see if anyone else had any helpful tips for baking a cake in this mold first.

Thanks!  and here's the link to it.
