Hi all...
Am new in this forum..I got an order from a client for the below cake.my confusion is how to achieve such a color combination for the flowers and the cake. Pls help me to sort out it[postimage id="3444" thumb="900"]
A very tiny bit of wilton peach would probably give you that color. But just a tiny bit, it will turn it orange fast.
To white add just a bit of the peach. If you don't have any left over, use a speck of peach OR ivory color in white. You also might try a very small amount of coffee (yes, brew coffee) and/or brown vanilla along w/a speck of peach, pink or ivory in your white icing.
Coffee would tint your fondant that taupe colour...mix a bit with a tiny bit of water to make a sort of paste and kneed as you would for gel colour till you get the desired colour....otherwise a flesh toned gel paste should do it :)
