Just curious- What do you use for a backdrop for pictures after you've finished your cake?

I've been using black fabric that I lay on the table, set the cake on, and then my son holds it up behind the cake. Cheap, but gets the job done. I've been wondering if white would look better though. Thoughts? Have you built one that you use? His arms get pretty tired while I figure out lighting...

I bought one of those trifold presentations boards, and I put my fabric over that. I bought fabric in various colours because white or black doesn't always look nice depending on the colours of the cake.

I did the same.just a scrap piece of fabric propped up in the back  - and eventually got a trifold also.

That's a fantastic idea! I'll try that next time and give my poor kiddo's arm a break!
