I'm wondering how those of you who have made a frozen them cake made your snowflakes.  Are they made out of fondant using a cookie cutter or are they made with royal icing?  If you could pass on the royal icing recipe and any stencils you used, I would so appreciate it.  Any advice is very welcomed!!!  Thank you!

You could do it using either method. I did my daughter's using the royal icing in the back if the Wilton meringue powder container. I didn't have stencils, so I found some snowflake images online, printed, placed parchment paper on too and used it to pipe my flakes. They came out great.

Thanks to all of you.  I ordered the plunger cutters - I hope they come in time!  If not, I'll use the white chocolate piping technique :)
