Try going to Pinterest and search for "hockey cake" --- lots of ideas there for a hockey inspired 9x13 cake.

Could you make a hockey stick and ball ..just the lower bottom half of the stick. On a green fondant iced cake.

Or just cover the top section of the cake green, leave the rest white if you didn't want it all to be green.
