Hi all, I'm brand new to this forum, I'm looking for advice! My closest friend is very into baking, so for her birthday I'm going to buy her a Giant Cupcake pan. Its cute and fun and I think she'll like it.

But when shopping online for it, I see there's silicone and metal ones. I don't mind the price, I just want to buy the one that will be better for her. What would you recommend? Thanks so much!

i have some mini cupcake size silicone pans that i like very much -- super versatile --

i had a silicone two piece 9" oreo cookie cake pan set that while i liked/loved it -- after i gave it away i realized that it was the reason that the thick fudge brownie batter did not did not bake evenly across the top like it does in a metal pan --

so because you're purchasing a larger pan -- i'd recommend going with the metal --

sweet gift -- how very nice/thoughtful of you
