I'm a cookier and new to this..  How do you plan out a cupcake cake? Even a simple one that shapes into a certain number, (like an 80)? Is I'm assuming there's a better way than baking a bunch of cupcakes and making it fit? Or do you base it on how many servings you need and take it from there? : ) Thanks so much.

I usually lay out the cupcake wrappers to the shape required. That gives me a close enough idea of how many i need. I never need more than i layout but sometimes i might have 1 or 2 too many. But thats ok cos i just eat them lol
