Is the metallic paint on these photos just brushing or how is it done?  Is the arrow (peach & pink) a stencil that has been painted?

Also, in this 2nd photo on the 2nd tier there is some white also...any idea how this effect is achieved?  Painted as well?

so my guess is from the first picture the gold is painted or they used edible gold leaf sheets.

i thought the arrows were airbrushed at first but maybe those are painted on as well. thats a lot of different colors close together.

for the second picture they probably used white to start, look up the watercolor effect on cakes.
