Hi

I was wondering if there would be any problems if I placed a cake that was covered in buttercream (light green colour) on a white fondant board? Would the buttercream stain the fondant?

Thanks

I've done it before and there were no problems. If the buttercream smears on the board it might leave a mark, so just be careful, or place the cake on the board when it's cold and the buttercream is hard and less likely to smear.

Great thank you.  My board isn't drying properly though due to it being so humid so I might have to recover it yet but will see how I go later today!
