My first post here... :)
I bake as a hobby but I do accept orders from friends so as to practice my baking skills more. I have a full time job so can only bake weekends and some nights if I don't work til late. I got my biggest order yet - 1 9-inch cake, 3 dozen cupcakes (3 different flavors!!)
Luckily, it is winter and we have an outdoors kitchen which at the moment gets to around 10-12 degrees (celsius) cold. The party is not until Sunday so I'm planning to do the frosting and decorations on Saturday. It's only Tuesday now so my question is: if I start baking the cake/cupcakes, can I store them in a sealed plastic container and just leave them in our kitchen and not refrigerate?

Best to put them in the freezer.
